µTimer

Here is a new release of µTimer, it is now version 0.4.

This version only introduces lower requirements for Glib and intltool.

Glib needs to be at least version 2.16.6.
Intltool needs to be at least version 0.37.1.

Here is a new release of µTimer, it is now version 0.3.

This version introduces new features and also lots of code improvements.

Change log between 0.3 and 0.2.1

• Added the stopwatch feature!
  • utimer --stopwatch
• Now you can pause and resume the timer/stopwatch/countdown using the Spacebar
• Added --enable-debug=[no/minimal/yes] option to configure
• Now completely rely on GTimers for calculating the elapsed time
• Added testing units (can be run when bulding utimer, using: make test)
• Lots of code cleanup
• Dropped the stability for releases (stable/unstable) as they weren't very meaningful.

µTimer 0.2 had copyright issues so we fixed this and here's the new version 0.2.1 that will "replace" the 0.2 version.

This version fixes only a few warnings (that may cause ambiguity) at compile time about LOCALEDIR.

The first and new version of µTimer 0.1 "Sunrise" has just been released!

This is still an unstable version but it can be used for "production".

It features:

• Timer: a timer (counting from 0 to 2 hours, 15 minutes and 30 seconds, for example) that shows the currently elapsed time (pretty useful compared to the sleep function!). This can be very useful for everyday uses or even for scripts!
• A man page with a full description.
• English and French locales are available.
